The Media Group from Vorarlberg which is active across Europe has turned its focus to international expansion into the Sharing economy through acquiring a stake in ALPINRESORTS.com, the largest independent ski rental website in Europe. Venture and M&A professionals from i5invest advised ALPINRESORTS.com on this successful deal.
On Tuesday 21st July, Russmedia Group announced its participation in the ski rental portal. Executives from the group highlighted that being part of the development of the Sharing economy is part of their international expansion plans. Erento.com, another online rental specialist, is already part of Russmedia’s business portfolio.
ALPINRESORTS.com is the largest independent online ski rental website in Europe. In the 2014/2015 winter season they rented over 170,000 pairs of skis to wintersports enthusiasts in ski regions across Europe. The company also owns and operates the Snowbrainer.com, Skimarie.fr, Pistenfuchs.de and Slopefox.co.uk sites.

ALPINRESORTS.com ist das größte unabhängige digitale Ski-Verleih Portal Europas, das allein in der Wintersaison 2014/2015 insgesamt 170.000 Paar Ski innerhalb Europas Skiregionen verliehen hat. Rund um das Portal sind die Schwester-Portale Snowbrainer.com, Skimarie.fr, Pistenfuchs.de und Slopefox.co.uk angesiedelt.
