Android Developer (junior/senior/lead) in Vienna/Graz or remote
We are looking for smart Android developers who want to work on game-changing projects with outstanding teams. Remote work is possible for senior applicants.
Your skills:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Proven working experience in Android development (min. 2 years)
- Have published or worked for at least one original Android app
- Experience with Android SDK
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Experience with client-server architectures, REST APIs, Python
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- iOS experience is beneficial
- Excellent German and good English skills
- Experience with working remotely and understanding for the challenges that result from it (senior)
Your tasks:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features (iOS, Support, Backend, Design)
- Work with outside data sources and API’s
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Work on new products, new releases, new features, bug fixing and improving application performance
- Spent time to get things “right” rather than hacking something quickly
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
