Stefan is Director at i5invest focusing on Corporate Development / M&A. He is a Corporate Finance professional looking back on 10+ years of experience and a strong track record in the execution of structured investment processes in numerous industries with a combined transaction value of over EUR 2.4bn.
Stefan started his career in 2008 in the automotive industry working for Volkswagen und Porsche in South America and Europe before transitioning to investment banking and M&A. He gained proficiency in deal making, working for several large banks including Nomura and Erste Group in Frankfurt and Vienna respectively. In 2013 he became an M&A Associate at one of the leading independent M&A advisory firms in Central Europe. Throughout, his career Stefan focused on managing structured investment processes including origination and execution of deals. He can leverage upon his profound knowledge in Business and Financial Planning, Company Valuation, Due Diligence execution and especially contract negotiation. His recent focus is also to support start-ups in fundraising, corporate development and strategic planning. Stefan is a mentor at the global incubator network GIN.
During his studies, Stefan majored in Finance and Accounting and is holding a Master’s degree from the University of Applied Science for Business and Engineering Wiener Neustadt. He spent two exchange semesters at renowned Universities in Madrid/Spain (Universidad Antonio Nebrija) and Seoul/South Korea (Yonsei University)
