AGTECH EUROPE 2017 – Report

We conducted a survey with the European AgTech leaders and rising stars in 2017

Our survey was completed by companies from 18 countries. Gathered data has been analyzed on an aggregated level and used with great care to create the AgTech Europe 2017 report.

Some of our exciting findings:

  • Over 80% of the European AgTech companies grew – in regard to their main KPIs – in 2016, emphasizing the overall growth in the industry
  • Over 50% of the European AgTech companies expanded their business in 2016, while 25% of them focused solely on overseas expansion
  • Big Data offering increases likelihood for funding by a factor of 3x, this emphasizes the importance for and wide-spread utilization of data-enabled agriculture
  • Smart agriculture will outperform in AgTech – Decision Support Technology is deemed the most exciting segment for 2017
