Michael is an Associate in the Corporate Development/M&A team of i5invest. He is responsible for supporting the execution of corporate and business development projects, with a focus on SaaS Business Models, Telematics, Robotics Software and Language Service Technology.
Prior to his work in M&A, Michael started his career at KPMG Austria, where he worked on several audit projects in the financial services industry.
Subsequently, he worked in M&A in the technology and industrial sector in Vienna and Frankfurt. His projects included international corporates as well as Austrian and German SMEs in industries such as renewable energy, healthcare IT, telematics, industrial services and optimization software.
In his past work and educational history in Japan, Singapore and Germany, Michael established an international network and gained significant professional and academic expertise across Europe and Asia.
He studied International Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business in Austria and Hitotsubashi University in Japan, specializing in Finance and International Business. In addition to that, he studied at the National University of Singapore and is finishing his MSc in Finance at the University of Aberdeen.
