Thomas is Partner at i5invest focusing on Corporate Development / M&A. He leads Corporate Development and Strategic Business Development projects for technology companies with a focus on Clean-/Energy-Tech, Data-Platforms and Digital Assets.
Prior to strategic management consulting (3 years) he joined PwC for more than 12 years in Corporate- / Project Finance where he headed projects in various types of transactions, in the optimization of business models, financial modelling and financial structuring including, arranging debt and equity for small and large corporates with a strong technological focus. He was setting up and leading the Austrian Financial Modelling Expertise where he also lectured large corporates, funds and start ups.
Throughout his career he took up projects across the globe from the Arabic world to Israel, from the Balkan to the Baltics.
Thomas holds a double master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Business Administration from the Vienna University of Business and Economics in conjunction with the University of Illinois and in Controlling & Finance (MBA) as well is a certified IPMA Project Manager.
